When you buy food product you can find E441 in food ingredient listing. What it is? Actually it one of food ingredient we call as "Gelatin".
It can be made from animal skin and hoof normally pig and cow. from waste product of meat and leather industries.
Gelatin is widely use in food as ingredient because it has the characteristic for gelling agent and stabilizer.
Products such as youghourt, cheese cake, confectionery,marshmallow, jellies (jell-O) etc.
As consumer we have to check what the gelatin made from.
